FOR SOLO DANCERS & GROUPS:
Each festival will have a new competition.
Judges:
Our Judges will be some of the most famous
teachers and choreographers in Egypt of egyptian folklore and egyptian oriental style.
Diploma:
All participants in the competiton will receive
a diploma signed by the Nile Group judges.
Conditions:
You have to be 18 years old minimum and womans only.
The style have to be for soloists:
Raks Sharki
Duetts & Groups: Folklore only and groups only
You have to be more than one person to compete in the folklore Category.
Maximum lenght of music 3 Minutes, if the music exceeds the limit the music will be faded out.
The judges look to:
Technique,musical and artistic interpretation, expressions,costumes and make up.
Register: To participate in the competition you or your group have to sign up in advance.
The number of participants is limited.
If you perform in the competition you can not perfome in the dance party.( That is if we have a lot of performing artists, in case there are not so many you are welcome to performe again. But we can see that later. The results are usually presented in the second dance party due to the number of participants.
After you sign up you will receive a confirmation.
Please bring a copy of your music and an extra CD in case of any technical problems. Information about competition will be presented in the registratin room of the festival. The competitors can only perform with CD not live band.
The choreographers name will not be mentioned in the contest.
